Ikran (also called Mountain Banshees) are large, bird-like predators that are native to Pandora. They are used by the Na'vi for hunting from the air and traveling larger distances. Ikran are also used in battle, where the mount attacks its opponents from the air.

Direhorses are vaguely horse-like in appearance, with very long necks and small heads. They are roughly the size of an elephant. They are native creatures of Pandora.

The thanator is a creature that lives on Pandora. Although many regions of the moon have yet to be explored, xenobiologists currently believe that it may be the most common land predator on Pandora.

A hexapede is a land herbivore that resides in various biomes of Pandora, including rainforests, savanna, subarctic tundra, and mountainous regions.

The great leonopteryx is a species of airborne predatory animals native to Pandora. Scientifically, it is known as Leonopteryx rex.

The hammerhead titanothere is approximately eleven meters long, which is almost twice the size of an elephant. It also resembles an elephant, with thick skin and a similar body structure.
